Wonderful Mud Lake geodes...iron bombs...

Have quite a few iron geodes / hematite 'bombs' coated with iron-oxide minerals from Lancaster County's long-forgotten Mud Lake. These 'bombs' hovered in the clay floats in the top soils surrounding the old iron mine. Sizes range from walnut-size to peach-size to grapefruit-size...
